You won’t find a more passionate writer

Hi, I’m Sheena

Writer. Word nerd. Content enthusiast. I live to write and make busy marketers’ lives less stressful and chaotic. You might be thinking, “That’s what every writer says!” But I mean it—truly.

Writing isn’t only my income, my job, my day-to-day. It’s my purpose.

my mission

I’m on a mission to make conversational and human copy the standard. And to give time-poor, overworked marketers like you time back, so you can do anything else, like:

come up with your
next big idea

execute high-impact
marketing campaigns

finally get some desperately-needed breathing room

My ironic journey to becoming a writer

from mumbles to master of words

When my parents started fostering me at the tender age of three and a half, they had their hands full. I didn’t come from a stable home, so besides behavioral issues, I was also behind in my education.

They tested my IQ, which was below average, and earned me the label of “developmentally delayed.” I didn’t have a lot of interactions as a toddler. So, when my parents tried to engage me, I couldn’t understand what they were saying. Or how to even let them know I didn’t understand the words.

Funny how life works. For the first few years of my life, I didn’t know many words—not even simple phrases. And now? Now, I’m a master of words. My parents prioritized my education and getting me caught up. They reinvigorated my passion for learning and sparked my love of writing.

So, decades later, the little girl who couldn’t mutter a single word now writes words—lots of words—for a living.

you know my story…

THE wanderluster co. story

how it all began

After discovering sales was not for me, I left that world to pursue my freelance writing career. With no experience or know-how. Bad idea. I know. But it’s when I unofficially started wanderluster co., so it’s not all terrible.

It was a lot of learning and growth. And struggling to pay my bills. But then something magical happened. Yep, magical. I got my first professional job as a writer… with one of the largest tech companies in the world:

– 2022

I was still young and dumb when I attempted my freelance writing career. It crashed and burned. So, I decided I was done struggling to pay my bills. Instead, I worked full-time jobs at large tech companies and SaaS startups. And even had a few clients on the side.

I grinded for five years as a copywriter. But, like almost everyone who has worked a traditional 9-5, I was over it. Over the micromanagers who thought they knew better. Over working on the same thing with the same company. Over people demanding I color within the lines.

Breaking point, reached.

2023 &

A global pandemic, a cross-country move, an unquenchable thirst for freedom—it all led to me taking a BIG risk. I finally found the courage to quit a job that sucked the life out of me and drained my joy. I took a $100k initial pay cut just to get out… to escape.

wanderluster co. was born… officially. And I’m just getting started!

meet wanderluster co.

I founded wanderluster co. for one simple reason: to tell your story. An all-things-writing brand, wanderluster co. is all about high-quality content and human-centric storytelling. It is not a content mill.

wanderluster co.
is female-founded, minority-owned, and run by a badass woman… me! I am big on loving, respecting, and including everyone. If that’s not your thing, you might want to find another writer. I won’t be offended—promise.

working with me

If you want a content writer who churns copy out like a content mill, I’m not your writer. But if you want someone who gets to know your brand and audience and writes content that resonates… you’re in the right place.

Here’s what you can expect when we start working together.

You’re cool. I like you. If the feeling’s mutual, I think we could make magic together. Like telling an awe-inspiring brand story or crafting evocative copy that prompts action.
